I am loving the weather we have now. Crisp, cool air perfect for layering and the like! I get excited because I have tons of fall and winter clothes but barely summer. So this time of year, is my time to shine!!! Its super easy to layer with your favorite sweatshirts and button down blouses as well. I also love layering with sweatshirts because I don't have to iron so that right there is a win in itself lol. As you can tell, I'm back in my favorite camouflage pants and dressed it up a bit this time. I loved print mixing the camo with the snakeskin pump.
It's so unexpected, but it works!!

Happy Thursday!! Camouflage is easily one of my favorite prints that I can never get tired of. I love it in every form: pants, jacket, scarf, bag and of course this vest! I kept this look edgy and simple. You can't go wrong with all black with this sort of print. Leather pants are a staple for me in the fall. I have several pairs of leather pants in my collection... and growing!! They are pure perfection and always give you a bit of edge and bit of chic when wearing it. Speaking of chic, how about these booties?!! Umm, they had me at hello!!! As I always said, Zara just knows how to treat a girl and I'm loving it. Run and order these gorgeous booties. Hey loves! If you can tell by the title of this post, I am celebrating my 6 month blogiversary of my blog, Alwayz Fashionably Late!! I can't believe that I finally started my fashion blog and have been going strong for six months!! It's unreal!! I've rounded up for you my favorite top ten blog posts as a look back from where I got started. Please click on the links and take a look in case you missed it!
When I first decided to start a blog, I was so fearful. I was nervous about the response I would get from those who know me, people who didn't know me and what people would think of me blogging. I'm a very private person, I have a select group of friends and I don't open up much to those I don't know. As my mother would to say, "keep living and you'll learn!" I never understood what that meant until I got older, but basically I've learned along the way that quality over quantity is key with relationships with others and I prefer it that way. But, starting a blog is opening myself up to others I don't know. How and why would I do this?
Well, I knew how much I really felt inspired by other fashion bloggers because I could relate to them simply based on their style. You almost feel a little connected to bloggers you follow because they are letting you in on a piece of their life. Not everything is picture perfect as it seems, but you feel connected with others over the images they share that simply inspire you. So I thought, why can I not be that individual that inspire others? Maybe its high time I break, just a little, my shell and put myself out there and at least try.
Well, I tell you what, its been an amazing six months of blogging! I've met awesome bloggers, photographers, learned so much about the business of blogging and opened myself up to the possibility of making new friends who understands what this blog life is about. Its not easy! In case you didn't know, it takes a lot of work! But, living in Dallas, I feel like I have an advantage because of so many great local bloggers, organizations and photographers are right here that I have worked and networked with that have made this journey so much easier.
I would like to thank you, my readers for the encouragement, sharing with friends and just for being you! I am definitely grateful and excited for bigger and better things to come. Of course, I have to thank my hubby for being so understanding and letting me do what makes me happy! Ok, enough of my thank you's! I can't wait to see what the next six months will bring to my blog!
Attention! This is not a baby/kid friendly outfit! Please put your white pants on and immediately leave the house before kiddy fingers can touch it lol. As a new mom, this outfit I definitely wouldnt wear hanging out with the little. She always find something to get into and wearing white pants would not be the smartest choice. So this is a look that I would put on at the VERY last minute to leave the house in and even then, thats a risk lol.
I love camo! It's the one print I feel I can always get right when incorporating it into my wardrobe. I dress it up, dress it down and can pretty much wear it with anything! This jacket is one of my fav's in my closet that I can always grab it and go, as well as add a bit of interest to my outfit. I love mixing neutral color palettes together and yet create an eye catching look. The camo jacket, statement bag and cognac sandals does just that! How do you feel about camo?
